Octaprice provides a straightforward access control system suitable for organizations of any size.


User Authentication Methods

Login Options

Users can log into the Octaprice dashboard with:

  • Username and Password: Credentials linked to their specific organization.
  • Google Account: Seamless signup and login using Google authentication.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To enhance security, Octaprice introduces Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

  • Users must provide a one-time token—often from a mobile device—in addition to their password.
  • Admin users can enforce 2FA for selected users within their organization.

User Roles and Permissions

Every user belongs to an organization and is assigned one of two roles:

Admin Users

Admins have elevated privileges, enabling them to:

  • Create and delete user accounts within their organization.
  • Configure and manage alerts for various metrics.
  • Require 2FA for specific users.

Basic (Common) Users

Common users have read-only access. They can:

  • View data
  • Generate reports
  • Utilize non-administrative dashboard features

Organizations can have an unlimited number of users at no additional cost.
